Job Details: Provide care for the elderly in the Greater Washington DC area during 4-8 hour shifts. We are currently hiring for Day shifts, offering opportunities on both weekdays and weekends.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Establish rapport with clients through engaging conversations and companionship
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
• Aid in client transportation for errands, medical appointments, and social activities
• Offer companionship and basic care, ensuring a clean and healthy environment
• Provide patient care under the direction of nursing staff
• Receive paid training to stay updated on the latest Home Care practices

Requirements:

• Active DC Certified Home Health Aide license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Home Health Aid and Caregiving
• COVID vaccinated with booster(s)
• Current TB, CPR, and health screening
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Compassionate and caring attitude
• Ability to work effectively in teams
• Enjoy spending time with seniors
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
