Job Description:
We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team in Washington, DC. This position offers afternoon and evening shifts, providing you with the opportunity to support individuals in need of assistance with daily living. Qualifications:

  • Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification 
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience as an HHA or caregiver, preferably with elderly or disabled clients
  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient with a strong desire to help others
  • Strong communication skills to engage with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Afternoon and evening availability is a must (Shift hours: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM or as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers (from bed to wheelchair, etc.)
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring clients maintain a balanced diet
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties including laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up
  • Help clients with medication reminders
  • Offer companionship and engage in conversation to provide emotional support
  • Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the care team
  • Ensure a clean and safe living environment for the client
  • Follow the care plan and document all activities and care provided
