Job Title: Home Health Aide (HHA) – Weekend Shift
Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Weekends, 1 PM – 5 PM or 2 PM – 6 PM

Job Description:
Philia is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide quality care for our clients in Washington, DC. As an HHA, you will assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the care team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client

Requirements:

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in Washington, DC
• Minimum of 2 year of experience in home care, private care, or assisted living
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Current TB and Health Screening
• Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Must be able to pass a background check
