JOB DETAILS:

Description: As a nanny with Philia, you will deliver on-demand childcare services, catering to multiple families and children on a weekly basis. Our aim is to provide interim care during parents' essential commitments such as meetings and errands.

LOCATIONS: Alexandria, VA, and Surrounding Areas

Shifts: Monday-Friday and Some Weekends

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients through engaging conversations and companionship.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Facilitate developmentally appropriate activities targeting fine and gross motor skills.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to accomplish daily tasks.
• Organize indoor and outdoor activities.
• Perform diaper changes as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of formal childcare experience.
• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers
• Valid driver's license.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Three outstanding references.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
