We provide comprehensive paid training to all Care Advocates, covering the following responsibilities:

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Providing patient care under the direction of nursing staff
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
  • Assisting in the transportation of clients for errands, doctor appointments, and social activities
  • Providing companionship and basic care to clients
  • Maintaining a clean and healthy environment
  • Building rapport with clients by engaging in meaningful conversation and providing companionship

Caregiver Requirements:

  • Active DC Home Health Aide license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Home Health Aid and Caregiving
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Current TB, CPR, and health screening certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Compassionate and caring attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in teams
  • Enjoyment in spending time with seniors

Job Location: Washington DC and surrounding areas

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday with weekend availability
  • Weekends only
  • Holidays
