Job Details: Caring for the elderly within the Greater Washington DC area. Shifts are 4-8 hours in duration, primarily during the day. We have openings for both weekdays and weekends

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Providing patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
  • Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
  • Offering companionship and basic care to clients, fostering meaningful connections.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Assisting with client transportation for errands, doctor appointments, and social activities.
  • Providing paid training to all Care Advocates to ensure adherence to the latest Home Care practices.

Requirements:

  • Active DC Home Health Aide license.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Home Health Aid and caregiving.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Possess a compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • COVID vaccinated with booster(s).
  • Current TB, CPR, and health screening.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Genuine enjoyment of spending time with seniors.
